Awhero, our Matariki rescue named for hope and ambition, is putting on weight and showing us his gorgeous personality. A bit cheeky and lots cuddley – he loves sofa and fireside snuggles. Awhero (DOB early April) is sleeping through the night (crate trained) and getting used to our senior dog, cat and chickens. His toilet training is at the B+ or “merit” stage and he is smart with sit and stay, too. Awhero gets his second vaccination in early August. Is this cheerful, clever snuggle puppy to be part of your family? He is being fostered near Matakana, north of Auckland. His humans are happy to travel as he is a fabulous commuter.
