Dog Description
Venezio
Venezio, male, mixed breed. DOB 12 September 2025. Venezio is a gentle, calm and affectionate boy with the friendliest temperament. This little bundle of love is a delight to foster. He has a very appealing way about him. His perky little face sets him apart. One of his favourite things is to sit or lie quietly and follow your every move, just observing and figuring out how the world works while taking pleasure in being warm, safe and loved. He enjoys being held, cuddled and petted, and snuggles up to one of us or a littermate at nap times, with a little smile and a sweet expression of contentment on his face. He climbs onto my lap and into my arms to stick his nose in my neck for a hug and a cuddle at every chance he gets. Venezio is engaged, enthusiastically getting involved with whatever is going on. Alert and responsive, Venezio is super smart and learns new things quickly. He enjoys playing with his toys and often carries one around with him. He also likes to sleep on top of the pile of puppy toys. He loves being outdoors on the deck, frolicking in the garden, and dozing in the sun or shade, as the mood takes him. When he gets going on the lawn, he is fast and agile. Venezio plays well with our two large dogs and displays confidence and good manners while being socialised. Venezio is a strong, healthy pup with a robust and well-proportioned body. Vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and tick, mite and flea treatments are up to date. He will be easy to train because he focuses quickly, loves to please, and responds well to the recognition that goes with it. Venezio sits for his treats and is learning basic commands. He is learning to walk on a harness and lead, and his toilet training is coming along well. He is not a noisy or destructive pup. He is clean in his habits and eats and sleeps well. He knows how to share and displays no resource guarding. He eats from his own bowl. He puts himself to bed – he is usually the first of the littermates to go to bed – and sleeps through the night, either in his bed or crate, without complaining. Although he does wake up to go toilet and drink water, so I would not recommend shutting the crate’s door. Wait until he is a little older. Venezio has never been on his own for long, and we believe he needs a family that will not leave him alone for an extended period until he is a bit older. He will do very well either as the only dog or with a companion dog, and he is great with children. He has shown interest in the neighbourhood cats but has not gone after them at all. He should be fine with them after a proper introduction. With loving guidance and the care of his forever family, Venezio will grow into the most wonderful dog and loyal companion. Please enquire about this amazing boy. He is eagerly waiting to meet his family. Venezio is fostered in Millwater, Silverdale.
