Hi, I’m Suki! I was found all alone in a park on Christmas Eve last year, and since then I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever family. Could that be you? I’m just over 1 year old, well past the puppy and teenage stages, and weigh around 20kg — a perfect medium size. As I’ve grown, I’ve discovered a huge love for swimming. Whether it’s the beach or my paddling pool at home, my ears perk up the moment I hear the word swimming! I have great recall, walk nicely on lead, and I’m very well behaved at home. I settle easily in my crate while my foster parents work, love going for walks, and am always keen for a car ride. Food is my number one love, so I’m very motivated to please when treats are involved! I’m a regular at doggy daycare, where I’m building my confidence and learning to make new dog friends. I live happily with three other dogs, though I do best with slow introductions to dogs I don’t know. I also share my home with a cat — I greet them politely with a gentle lick on the face. I can be shy with new people, but once I trust you, I’m an incredibly loyal companion who will always want to be right by your side. I’m fully vaccinated, desexed, and microchipped, and ready to start my next chapter. I can’t wait to meet you in Helensville.
