Meet Moo Moo! Moo Moo is a gorgeous young girl, just over 1 year old, who has come such a long way during her time in foster care. When she first arrived, the world was a very scary place, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s grown into a much more confident little dog who is ready to find her forever family. At around 18kg, Moo Moo is fully grown. She would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly resident dog, as having a calm canine companion really helps bring out her playful, confident side. One of Moo Moo’s biggest achievements has been learning to enjoy walks. She was once terrified of wearing a lead, but now she absolutely loves getting out and exploring. Beach walks and forest adventures are her favourites, and she’s becoming more confident with every outing. She’s even visited places like Bunnings and Petstock, taking all the new sights and smells in her stride. She’s still learning her loose-lead walking, but she’s made incredible progress and loves getting out and about. Moo Moo can still be shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar situations. She’ll likely keep her distance at first, but if you’re patient and let her approach in her own time, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate companion who forms incredibly strong bonds with her people. She still benefits from a calm routine and a secure home with solid fencing while she continues to build confidence. Like many sensitive dogs, progress isn’t always perfectly linear, but she’s shown just how much she’s capable of achieving with kind, understanding people by her side. Once Moo Moo trusts you, she’s wonderfully affectionate. She enjoys curling up on the couch for cuddles, and if you’re eating Greek yogurt, don’t expect to do it alone—she’ll be sitting politely right beside you, hoping for a taste! It’s easily her favourite treat. Moo Moo isn’t looking for perfection—she’s looking for someone willing to give her the time she deserves.
