Property Check
For your application to be considered a property check will need to be completed. We trust you are happy for Saving Hope to do this. The following are our standard requirements:
Your home must have a safe, fenced in area to keep your dog in
There must be a proper shelter for your dog if left outside during any part of the day BUT if the dogs are under 3 months old they must not be left outside unsupervised
The dog you adopt will be a domestic house pet and MUST sleep inside as part of your family

I/We agree to adopt a dog from Saving Hope and will abide by the terms of the Saving Hope Foundation.
I/We agree to abide by Saving Hope Foundation’s recommendations regarding the care and welfare of my adopted dog.
I/We or any member of my/our family have never been subject to a formal complaint or legal action for cruelty or neglect of any animals and have never owned animals which have been confiscated by any agency for violations of any laws, regulations or animal adoption agreements.
I/We acknowledge that the Saving Hope Foundation is not responsible for my/our adopted dog after the date of approval of my/our application. Once I/We sign agreement to all Saving Hope’s terms and have taken possession of my/our new adopted dog, I/We will from that day onwards accept full care and responsibility for the dog that I/we have adopted.
I/We agree to indemnify the Saving Hope Foundation, its trustees and volunteers for any liability, costs or expenses that may arise as a result of my actions or omissions (including negligence) or of my/our adopted pets condition, health or behaviour.
I/We acknowledge that Saving Hope is NOT obligated to take the dog back after the adoption is finalised. However, if the dog needs to be rehomed for any reason whatsoever, I/we will contact the Saving Hope Foundation in the first instance to discuss my/our situation. Any acceptance of returned dogs will be at Saving Hope’s sole discretion and cost contribution requirement.
I/We give my/our full agreement and assurance that my/our adopted dog will become part of my/our family and live and sleep inside my/our home with me/us.
I/We understand that if at any time Saving Hope has any serious concerns about the care, health, safety or welfare of my/our adopted dog, Saving Hope will have the right to uplift and take back my dog while the situation is being investigated.
Only when so required I/We give consent to Saving Hope to take urgent action without notice if they determine that the life of my adopted dog is at risk.
