Thomas, Male, Shar-Pei, DOB: 12 Jan 2026 (10 weeks old from 23 March) Fostered in Mt Wellington with his sister Tabitha. Meet Thomas – the sweetest little boy! He’s a relaxed, cruisy pup who enjoys exploring the yard, finding his own fun, and playing with his sister. He loves cuddles and human attention, and would do best in a home where he has company during the day. Thomas can be a bit shy at first and often looks to his sister for confidence in new environments, but he absolutely loves other dogs. He’s currently fostered with three dogs of different sizes and gets along great, so would be happy in a home with another dog. Shar-Pei’s are best suited to homes with older children, and Thomas would be fine with older kids who understand to be gentle and respect his space. Being so young, he still has lots to learn, but he is already crate trained and currently working on toilet training. Thomas’ ideal home is someone who has experienced (or has researched) the Shar-Pei breed, so understands their traits as well as being aware of the specific health issues this breed can be prone to. As well as someone who has the time to give him attention, training, and lots of love. Thomas has had his first vaccination and is microchipped.
