As you get to know Aslan you will find he is able to anticipate what is required of him and is already responding to hand signals, a sign of a well-developed intelligent dog. He has mastered some basic commands and if his new family can provide him with training opportunities he will absolutely blossom with the mental stimulation of training and it will be so rewarding for his family to see him reach his full potential. You will find that all Aslan wants in life is to please his humans and only asks for love in return. Like most intelligent dogs Aslan will thrive in a home with structure and where he gets sufficient mental stimulation. Aslan is well socialised with other dogs, adult humans as well as children but is quite afraid of cats, so he respectively avoids them. He would be very comfortable with a family that already has a dog and will certainly enjoy having children around. Otherwise, he would be just as happy to join an active family of two as an only dog. Aslan is fully house trained as well as crate trained. When walking, he is comfortable on both short and long leads and will always look back at his human for reassurance that he is doing the right thing. He hasn’t been trained off lead yet but from his response to long lead training, where he stays close to his human indicates that after a bit of bonding with his humans and some recall training, he should be great off lead. Aslan certainly loves splashing around in a paddling pool, so he will most likely end up being a bit of a beach boy. Aslan is fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed. All he is waiting for now is his forever family to find him, so that he can live the life he so richly deserves.
