Dog Description

Pharrah

Introducing Pharrah Estimated DOB: 08 July 2024 (as of 8th October Pharrah is 3 months old) A quick back story on Pharrah – Miss Pharrah and her brothers and sisters were found running around Orewa, skinny and absolutely starving. Now after being in foster care, Pharrah has gained weight and is safe, healthy and ready to start her hunt in finding her forever home! Pharrah is a beautiful, lovely wee pup! She is very people focused and would love to be with you all day, everyday and it doesn’t matter where. Pharrah is an active pup who loves to play and run! But her most favorite thing in the world is pats, cuddles and attention. Pharrah can be a bit nervous in new surroundings – so she will need slow introductions. She was very timid when she first arrived but has come a long way since then and is now very confident around the home. We have started working on her socialization as well. Pharrah would love someone who is going to treat her like a real princess and pamper her and give her lots of cuddles and pats. She is such a sweet little girl who loves to follow you (right at your heals) around the garden and go on her back for belly rubs! Pharrah would be fine living in a home with another dog, preferred of the opposite sex. She is fostered with our own dogs – Papillon (small breed) and a Bearded Collie, she absolutely loves them! Due to her slight nerviness as well as being a bit rough with play she would be best in a home without children or with older kids who are 13+. Pharrah will thrive with someone who has the time to focus on her daily, provide good firm leadership and can fully commit to her training needs. Pharrah is fully crate trained – she currently sleeps in a crate at night with her brother (but we will be splitting them into separate crates soon), she sleeps through the night without waking and has naps in there during the day. She is also learning to get into a routine with her toilet training. Because Pharrah is still so young she still has so much more to learn, I know she cant wait to have a family of her own to show her the big wide world and all the fun things it has to offer her! Being a suspected Shepherd cross, Pharrah is a very intelligent girl and this means she will need someone who is willing to give her the right amount of time, exercise and mental stimulation to keep her fulfilled and entertained. She is also still very much obsessed with food, so, with a strong food drive teaching her tricks won’t be a problem. Pharrah has had her 1st Vaccination & Microchip. We are now taking expressions of interest for her, and she will be ready for meet & greets from the weekend of 19th/20th October. Pharrah is fostered in Mt Wellington with her brother Phoenix (he is not up for adoption yet), as well as our own pets who are 2 dogs and a cat. If you are interested in meeting Pharrah please fill out an adoption application form.
